Science is the study of the natural world and how it works. It involves observing, describing, and explaining natural phenomena, as well as predicting future events based on scientific evidence. Science is divided into three main branches: physical science, which studies matter and energy; life science, which studies living organisms; and earth and space science, which studies the Earth and its environment.
